Who we are
This policy explains how yourtechchoices.com (“YourTechChoices”, “we”) handles personal information. The site is operated by Max Syms from Wyoming, USA, and follows United States law. Contact for privacy questions: contact@yourtechchoices.com.
What we collect
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) for security and performance.
- No analytics or advertising trackers. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tracking tools. We use Google Search Console, which shows us how our pages perform in Google Search using Google’s own search data. It adds no tracking code or cookies to this site.
- Content delivery. Pages are served through our host’s content delivery network (Hostinger CDN), which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages quickly and protect the site.
- Hostinger Reach script. Our host’s email-marketing tool (Hostinger Reach) loads a small script from cdn-reach.hostinger.com on our pages. We do not currently run a newsletter or email sign-up form. If we add one, we will update this policy before collecting any sign-ups.
- Messages you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply. The form sends your message by email to our inbox; it is not used for marketing.
- Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we collect the name, email, and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser user agent for spam detection.
Cookies
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may set functional cookies, for example to remember your details if you choose that option when leaving a comment. When you click an affiliate link, the vendor’s site may set its own cookie to credit us for a referral. That cookie is governed by the vendor’s privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we use information

- To understand which pages are useful, using aggregated Google Search Console data
- To reply to your messages
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the site process data on our behalf: our web host Hostinger (hosting, CDN, server logs, and the Reach script above) and the email provider that receives messages sent to our inbox. Affiliate merchants receive referral data, through their own cookies, when you click an affiliate link. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Embedded content from other websites
Author and comment profile pictures are loaded from Gravatar, a service run by Automattic, which receives your IP address when the image loads. Pages may also include embedded content (for example videos). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you.
How long we keep it
We keep messages only as long as we need them to reply and to handle any follow-up. Server and CDN logs are kept by Hostinger for a limited period under its own retention settings. Comments, if you leave one, stay on the site until they are removed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or state privacy laws such as the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to some processing. Children
This site is for business readers and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date shows the current version.
